The Preservation Committee’s current goal is to complete the building’s restoration with renovation of the Civic’s theater.
The Preservation Committee’s current goal is to complete the building’s restoration with renovation of the Civic’s theatre. The largest space in the Civic is the theatre. It once seated up to 1,000 people for plays, movies, concerts and athletic competitions.
Completed, the theater will become a central gathering spot for large performances and greatly increase the Civic’s capacity to house large conferences from within the community and beyond.
